Sérgio Conceição is a Portuguese former professional footballer who is currently the manager of Portuguese club FC Porto. He was born on November 15, 1974, in Coimbra, Portugal.
Conceição had a successful playing career, primarily as a winger, and represented several clubs such as FC Porto, Lazio, Inter Milan, Parma, Standard Liège, and PAOK. He also earned 56 caps for the Portuguese national team, scoring 12 goals.
After retiring as a player, Conceição transitioned into coaching and quickly made a name for himself. He has managed clubs like Braga, Vitória de Guimarães, and Nantes before taking over as the head coach of FC Porto in 2017. Under his leadership, Porto has won multiple domestic trophies and enjoyed success in European competitions. Conceição is known for his passionate coaching style and tactical acumen.
